Hyetal’s debut album ‘Broadcast’ released earlier this year showed rare scope, scaling giddy emotions with synths that burst and flared all over the place like out of control catherine wheels. This new remix for Danish group Battlekat shows a way with the more restrained end of things, a stately paced, grand rework that continuously sounds like it’s poised on the edge of a cliff-face. It’s all about the tension, the childish vocals of Battlekat peeping through thick swathes of Hyetal’s technicolour mist.
