Caribou, real name Dan Snaith, performs as part of a four-piece band for his standard live performances, but the Vibration Ensemble takes this a step further with an impressive line up featuring British electronic heavyweights Kieran Hebden and James Holden on synthesisers, alongside a four-piece horn section, two drummers and special guest saxophonist Marshall Allen of Sun Ra’s Arkestra. In anticipation of the headline performance of Caribou’s Vibration Ensemble at this December’s ATP Nightmare Before Christmas, the All Tomorrow’s Parties have uploaded Caribou’s 2009 set to their Soundcloud.
