Ryan Hemsworth – who Diplo mischievously introduced on his Radio 1 show as “one of the best DJs with the worst names in the music industry right now” (lest we forget, Diplo’s real name is Thomas Pentz) – shared a treat this morning by posting his mix for that very radio show in full. It’s another hype-justifying listen, and makes for a lively companion piece to his winter blues hit selection for The Fader at the end of February – which featured a gem of an old high school edit of Broken Social Scene, and a bit of pop-garage crate-digging with 3 of a Kind’s Babycakes.

With snippets of the Twin Peaks and Donkey Kong soundtracks nestling alongside The Knife, Chief Keef and Wedidit associates Shlohmo and D33J – and a couple of new ‘uns from the man himself – it’s further proof that few can offer up the effortless eclecticism Ryan’s capable of right now.
