Ralph LTF - Wifey mix

Digging deep into the sound of bassline, garage, funky and grime, east London collective Wifey have established a healthy name for themselves with various impressive bookings over the past five years. This weekend will see residents Ralph LTF, ROBN and Badge Attic invite dusty electronic artist Lee Gamble and Randomer, a key player of the current dubstep scene, to play their upcoming event. Further information and tickets here.

Lee Gamble is a member of Birmingham/London-based music group CYRK. Long before releasing ‘Diversions 1994-1996’ and ‘Dutch Tvashar Plumes’, the two highly acclaimed albums for Bill Kouligas’ experimental and abstract dance-driven PAN label last year, he had carved out a reputation for himself in the fields of jungle, rave and drum & bass. Numbers and Hemlock affiliate Randomer joins the bill on the same night, where he will be showcasing his visceral, hard-hitting DJ set, spanning a distinctive range of genres and styles.

Having previously delivered a special mix for Dummy, Wifey co-host Ralph LTF once again provides an enticing quick mix, featuring tracks from Dummy mix alumni Mr Beatnick, Rinse FM’s latest signing XXXY, Claptrap creator Joe and, of course, Lee Gamble. To quote the man himself, “what we’re getting at is we want to experiment and go all guns blazing at weird, different parties in 2013.”
