Playlist: Shelter Point on “drifting away”

The Nottingham-based duo guide us through the turn-of-the-seasons with a floatworthy playlist of their favourite tunes to drift away to.

Listen a playlist compiled by Nottingham-based electronic duo Shelter Point.

It was only four years ago that Nottingham-based duo Shelter Point broke onto the scene with their two-track release Forever for Now. Full to the brim with a melancholy-tinged euphoria, it was an instant underground classic, with a great response online.

Since then, the pair's output has been slim, with a view to putting together a debut album. Keeping busy with an i-D mix, remix of MØ track Walk This Way and last year's 'Weird Dreamers' EP, their Boards of Canada and Mount Kimbie styled soundscapes have won them fans in the likes of radio royalty such as Annie Mac, Huw Stephens, and Zane Lowe as performances for Great Escape, Red Bull Bestival, BBC Introducing, and a supporting set for Jack Garrat.

Looking like they're set to gather momentum once more with new single Without A Light, you can probably expect a lot more from the duo over the next 12 months, but for now, however, we'll stick tight to their expertly compiled playlist. Put together with the theme "drifting away" in mind and spanning music as far and wide as PARTYNEXTDOOR to Machinedrum, it's perfect listening for the current turn-of-season mood.

Listen to Shelter Point's playlist below, and get set to float away.
