Set the dial to non-stop fun with the singer-songwriter's selection of festival-ready tracks.
It has been an action packed 12 months for young London based instrumentalist and bold, pop inspired singer-songwriter Georgia, who released her self-titled debut album on Domino Records last August. The fresh-faced artist has certainly come a long way since her days as a drummer for Kwes and Kate Tempest, amongst others.
Throwing her true spirit into her soulful workings of progressive and highly-defined electronic pop, her festival calendar is looking pretty busy this season, with appearances set for Benicassim, UK staple Glastonbury, and her London festival debut at Field Day this weekend.
Gearing up for what we hope will be a weekend under the sun listening to some of the best acts at the forefront of electronic music, Georgia has compiled some heavyweight sun-soaked selections for us which are bound to get you in the mood for a day standing in a field with your mates. Listen below, and get ready for Georgia's milestone performance on Saturday June 11th at Field Day with tracks from Kelela and Little Simz through to ATA KAK and Orchestra Baobab.
Hey Georgia – we're pretty much at halfway point so how's your year been so far?
Georgia: "Gosh, that has flown by. I’ve been in the studio and of course playing live in between. It feels like I have been in a time machine [laugs]."
Are you deep in festival season yet? What are your survival tips?
Georgia: "It kicked off for me last week at Liverpool SoundCity and we have some great festivals coming up with Field Day, Glastonbury, and Benicassim amongst them! I would say always carry some Andrex wash wipes."

Tell us a little more about the selections here. Any tracks got a backstory, special meaning, or are there any ways you'd suggest people enjoy this list?
Georgia: "Well, they are all my favourite artists and mean a lot to me in different ways. I think Air will always have a real sentimental place in my heart, not only because i was brought up on their music but also we played a show with them last year in Lisbon. They came backstage to hi and say how much they enjoyed my show. It was a real special moment!"
If you could go back in time to another musical era, when would you choose and who would you hang with?
Georgia: "I think I would go back to the early '90s, to the moment that Missy Elliot met Timberland, and hang in the studio whilst they developed all those creative songs."
Peanut butter or Nutella?
Anything on the horizon for Georgia, or shows you're really excited to play?
Georgia: "I have lots of shows on the horizon. I’m so looking forward to playing Field Day, which is my first London festival! Big up London."
