Kuedo – FACT Mix 288

Once 50 per cent of cross dubstep band Vex’d, Kuedo’s album ‘Severant’ [Planet Mu] is honestly one of the best electronic records I’ve heard in months. Not least because of its combination of the the agitated rhythms of juke and trap rap and the gorgeous machine song of synthpop. His contribution to the FACT mix series sees him elegantly combine these two very different disciplines with sounds from Vangelis and Tangerine Dream rubbing shoulders with Lex Lugar and DJ Spinn.
