Jamie xx live at Night + Day Berlin

Famous band The xx will bring their Night + Day festival to London this weekend, with a dazzling line-up featuring the likes of Solange, Mount Kimbie and Jon Hopkins. In anticipation, their percussionist and producer Jamie xx has released a full stream of his set at the Berlin leg of the festival via RBMA. As per usual with the introverted beatmaker, it’s full of sparkling chimes, softly spliced vocals and slow, heated house, including some throwbacks such as a delicately reworked version of the group’s early remix for Florence + the Machine, You Got The Love and Jamie’s Gil Scott-Heron remix I’ll Take Care Of U.

The festival will take place at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire on Saturday 22nd June, and tickets are still available.
