The folks who made us reflect, retort and retweet the most on Twitter this year.

2012 was a year of bombardment, with Twitter sitting at the forefront of our current obsession with information overload and content over-sharing. Wading through the stream of updates, we’ve put together a list of the 20 music industry figures whose tweets had us laughing, thinking and sharing the most in the Dummy office in 2012, in no particular order.

Lukid released his fourth album ‘Lonely At The Top’ in October.



New York rapper Le1f collaborated with producer Boody on his most recent release, the ‘Liquid’ EP.



Laurel Halo will release a new single on the 10th December 2012.



Scratcha DVA released his debut album ‘Pretty Ugly’ on Hyperdub this year (under the alias DVA).



Canadian popstar Grimes released her third full-length record, ‘Visions’ on 4AD, in January.



Famous rapper Drake has a lot of thoughts.



LuckyMe DJ Eclair Fifi has a bi-weekly Thursday night show on Rinse FM.



This year Acephale Records released How To Dress Well’s second album ‘Total Loss’.



In 2012 Hudson Mohawke mostly appeared as noisy project TNGHT, in collaboration with Canadian producer Lunice.



Wiley is going on tour with Skepta and JME in April 2013. Hopefully he won’t forget his words.



London-based DJ and producer Rory Phillips is embarking on a three-week American tour in January 2013.



Camp pop star-in-the-making Lauren Devine released two singles this year.
