Dummy is currently hiring a new editor.
We are looking for a music journalist who is passionate about music discovery, social media, video/live streaming, playlisting and live events.
Ideally the right candidate will have some experience of working for a music publication but this is preferable rather than essential. A track record in running your own music blog, YouTube channel, streaming playlist, club/gig night or indie record label would also be useful.
We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, self-starter who is comfortable working on their own as well as part of a team. The job involves some remote working although we are looking for someone who is London based.
The job does not have normal office hours and will require working some evenings and weekends covering events in a journalistic capacity or as a brand rep of Dummy.
If this is you please send your CV and 100 words on how you think you could improve Dummy as a music discovery brand to email@example.com.
We are a London Living Wage employer.
Closing date for applications is Friday December 16th.
We are on the look out for filmmakers who would be interested in helping to create brand new music video content for Dummy. If this could be you, say hello at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are always looking for new writers. If you think you can contribute, drop a line with a handful of pitches for features, some links back to some of your work email@example.com.
