Live broadcast: Soul Clap live at their YOYO 90's Jam, London

The Boston-based slo-mo house duo, Soul Clap has a bit of a thing for the music and rave culture of the 90s. They’ve been throwing parties reminiscing on the day-glo decade first locally and later globally since 2005. London’s been privy to a few of their YOYO 90’s Jam nights with past guests including the likes of Robert Owens and Danny Rampling. The guys recently took over a Hackney Wick warehouse for the latest edition of the 90’s Jam featuring Coldcut, Ashley Beedle (Black Science Orchestra,) and King Britt. Smoke machines and lasers saturated the main room and the tongue-in-cheek crowd came prepared for the occasion sporting bum bags, Reebok Pumps, and plenty of other fashion gems particular to the era. Soul Clap’s opening resident set was one of the highlights of the consistently strong lineup, and you can listen back to it on the player to the right. Dress accordingly, pull out your best running man moves, pump up the volume and DANCE!
